Race Course police on Monday registered cases against four Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) activists for indulging in acts not permitted during a rally.
Prior to the commencement of rally from VOC Grounds, it was learnt that these activists indulged in certain acts opposed by the police. Cases were registered against Ramesh Babu, Kannan and two others under section 43 (indulging in acts against permission) and 353 (preventing government servant from discharging duty) under IPC.
